Question about X800 HSF removal

How are some of you removing the back plate with the 2 small screws on the x800? I tried removing mine but the screws began wearing down so I had to stop. It seemed as if they didn't want to budge at all. Any tips would be welcomed.
 
just unscrew the two screws holding the metal clip, then turn it to remove it.. then unscrew the third screw .. if you kill the screws use a better screwdriver

I don't care about doom 3, not really excited about that game to begin with. Mines an unlocked VIVO anyway so not like it would do poorly regardless.

W1zzard, I partially stripped the screws in a vein attempt to remove the screws so now I'm not sure what to do. :confused:

Its a gigabyte x800 vivo, comes with 16 pipes unlocked out of the box but these cards are kinda hard to find. Just about all vivo's work though so I wouldn't really worry about brand too much.
 
you are saying that your x800 pro vivo came with 16 pipes unlocked out of the box?
 
Yes, it seems all the Gigabyte vivo models are coming out of the box with all 16 pipes enabled.
