Is there an option in the drivers so as not to strech the image across, esp. for games? I'm wondering b/c I feel it would just be weird to see a game strech further than it's actully supposed to be. I like the e-machines athlon 64 notebook, but i wonder if the widescreen is a double-edged swored.

I have an ATI vid card in my notebook. There is a setting in the properties that says something like "Keep aspect ratio". If you uncheck this, then it will not stretch I think. One downside is that a lot of games do NOT support LCD sizes like 1500 x 1200 (or whatever) so your results will vary.
