I've recently decided to make a little website in my freetime for my family and friends. Anyone know any good webhosts for personal websites or will just about any one do? I am looking to have a forum up on it as well. Thanks in advance for helping this complete noob.

Any hosting plan would probably work for you. If you want a forum, you will need a plan with server-side scripting and database support if you want to run software like phpBB or simplemachines, but almost any plan offers those things.
