Question about VIVO

Is it possible to use the monitor, for lets say, a Gamecube, without having to capture the video? I just want it to directly stream it to the monitor and not have it record it into a who knows how big a file. Would I need some sort of program?

EDIT: Nevermind, I found a program called AMCap. It works perfectly.
