I am a bit of a noob when it comes to video hard drivers, but I own a BFG 6600 gt and recently upgraded to Nvidia's 77.22 drivers. I was wondering if I was suppose to delete the previous drivers before downloading the new ones? They were Nvidia's previous drivers that I had downloaded before.

If so will this conflict with anything on my system?

Its best to delete the old drivers before you begin installing the new ones. I recommend using Driver Cleaner 3 to remove left over files after you uninstall the drivers from the add/remove panel.

What do you mean be delete? If you mean remove/uninstall then yes you should. Like the poster above me said, use Driver Cleaner and followed the detailed insructions on the website on what to do. Do not skip any of the directions. drivercleaner.net
