Question about temps

I would like to know if these temps are about right for my system specs or if they seem high. I have a P4 LGA775 550 (3.4ghz) that runs at 40-41C idle and anywhere from 55-59C under full load. I also have a 7800GTX that runs 43C idle and about 55C load. Are these normal temps or are they too high?

I think your gtx temp is pretty good as underload, people have been getting somewhere in the 60s.
The load temps of the p4 is about right also. If your core is a prescott, that is a decent temp. I had a 3.2Gz prescott and under load witth water cooling, it was running in the high 40s.
Of course, I went with AMD 64 and it is running around 38C underload when ambient temp is 28C.

Yes, it is a prescott. I just wasnt sure if these temps were considered average or not. I just wanted to make sure they were in the safe region of the sprectrum. By the way, thanx for the reply.
