Well i'm not 100% sure where to post this, but i figured it's a tool for testing overclocking so good enough right?

Well i decided to check out SP2004 and i like the interface alot better than prime 95, it seems to take all the normal tasks and put it right there in an easy to read manor.

Here is my issue, im using clockgen to try and find what my chip is going to do, but when i raise up the HTT SP2004 does not show a change in my CPU speed, even though CPU-Z does. Do i have to set each clock via the bios just to use this program?

Have i done something wrong?

I'm pretty sure it doesn't refresh the clock speed every time you adjust it.

but it still works the same as p95, so i can just up the clock speed to test?

yes, assuming you are in fact updating the clock speed increments with clockgen and not just raising the slider...

Good luck.

You mean i shouldn't just move the slider all the way to the right? I thought that was [H]ard overclocking lol

Yeah i do it the right way, just a few mhz each time. If i have already tested at one speed i might move a little quicker.
