Hi I have a sb61g2r shuttle and it only has 1 pci and 1 AGP slot, I was wondering if there is a way I could just replace the motherboard to get PCI Express or is it impossible ( have to buy a higher shuttle model )

Thanks.

You are probally better off selling your case and buying one with a pci x16

for relatively cheap, you could get an x-qpack + tforce 6100 plus all the ammenities (sp?) for a nice price. you can recoupe your losses by selling your shuttle intact...i'm sure there are people willing to buy 110-130% of what it's worth off of EGAY. hey, it's a profit.

Still have to factor in the fees associated with eGay.

As stated above you cannot replace mobo's in shuttles because they are proprietary (sp?). heck you can't even buy shuttle mobo's anywhere....unless you have someone who parted it out which is weird.
