Hello,
So i just received my static ip address from my isp. This is so that people can access my server from different locations. The problem is i do not know how to set this up. I am using a pfsense router. Am i suppose to configure every pc connected to the internet with the dns, subnet and ip address? or is there a way to configure it on the router so that every pc that is connected to the router share the same dns. ip and subnet addresses in order to connect the the internet?

You configure it on the WAN interface of your router.
So instead of configuring your WAN interface for Dynamic/DHCP/Obtain Auto (common for cable), or PPPoE (common for DSL)...you select "Static IP" and you enter the information your ISP gave you...
IP address
Subnet Mask
Default/Remote gateway
DNS1
DNS2
