Question about Server Racks...

You really want a 4 post if you can help it. EIther that or a normal rack. I would check around and see if you have any government surplus sales around your area. I've seen racks sell for 10 bucks used around where I live(full enclosed ones)
 
Yeah what swatbat said. You can get two post kits for some servers...but in my experience relay/2 post racks do not work well for that purpose..they were designed/built for light loads (switches, patch panels, etc).
 
most of the kits I have seen for servers to be able to mount is a 2 post are called Midmount kits, but I would still try and get a 4 port cabinet.
 
ok. Thanks for the heads up...I am gonna take a look on ebay. I was looking before and saw some nice ones for sale
