Question about resolutions

[Kaldskryke]

A friend of mine is planning to buy a 19" widescreen monitor and asked me if her old FX5200 would support the 1440x900 resolution. Am I right is saying that as long as she has recent drivers that this is a non-issue, or are older video cards limited to 4:3 type resolutions?
