Question about replacing AC plug with USB

This USB hub comes with a power adapter. The Surface Pro 4 does not provide adequate power to power multiple USB devices. I am looking at this power bank to extend the battery life of my SP4, and to also provide power to the USB hub. The power bank does not have an AC outlet. Would it be possible to replace the power adapter with this?

The power adapter is 5V, 4A
The power bank outputs 5V, 2.4A (the site says "4 ports USB support max 8A current output.")

Will there be any problems?

I dunno. I'm not sure you can get anywhere near 2.4a out of a single USB port without some sort of software negotiation with the controller. MAX SPEC power from a USB 3.0 port is 0.9A.

And even if you could, the best you could do would be 2.4a, which could be overloaded by attaching three hard drives to your four port hub.

I'd just stick with the wall plug my man. Too many caveats with using high powered USB plugs.
