will it works if i put receiver and dvd player into digital input and the speaker is analog.

is there any difference between if i put all analog input and output? then dvd player and receiver digital input and speaker is analog. which is the better sound? all analog or dvd player and receivre digital input and speaker is analog.

digital output from dvd player -> digital input from the receiver -> analog speakers

vs.

analog output from dvd player -> analog input from the receiver -> analog speakers

which one have better sound.

which one have better sound.
1) A question ends with a ----> ? (question mark) :p
2) It is impossible for us to answer that question based on the information you have provided.

How about you just use your ears to decide which is better?

there is no such thing as a digital speaker :)

the reciever will decode a digital signal to analog and then amplify that analog signal and send that to the speakers

the point of usisng digital outputs from a dvd player is to
A) enable surround sound multichannel
B) provide better sound quality since a digital signal will not be effected by hum, or buzz or other interference
C) reduce the number of cables needed

in general if you plug a digital output from a dvd player into a digital input on a reciever it will sound better then analog
