Question about PS3 Audio Output

Well my surround sound receiver doesnt have any HDMI input. So I have it set up for HDMI to go straight to the TV, then I have an optical cable to the reciever. Is there anyway to set it up so it simultaneously outputs audio to both HDMI and Optical. Cause right now I keep having to switch it back and forth depending if I want Surround Sound or not, its just a pain in the ass. I'm so used to the 360 where it outputs to both the TV and receiver at the same time.
