I recently traded one of my 256MB Crucial 2100DDR sticks for a unstable MSI 815E Pro mobo and PIII 866 cpu with one of my friends. He needed the DDR since he had none, he had no use for the mobo and proc since he just upgraded so the trade ensued. My question is this- is there something special about this PIII 866 SL4CB cC0 stepping cpu, like is it a good overclocker? Reason I ask is because I just thought about selling it and checked how much 866's go for on ebay and noticed that the SL4CB's go for more than the other 866's. So what's up with that?

Yes, the cC0 stepping 866's were very good OCers. Grab a stable mobo for it and bring that baby up to 1.1GHz+.
