Question about PC/Dvd player 5.1 wires.

Hello all, sorry if this question was asked before, but I am curious on what to do for the following.

Ok, So I have an 'Audigy 2ZS' sound card, w/ 'Logitech 540' speakers & "24' Dell 2407" monitor.

I plan on purchasing a DVD player w/ progressive scan in the next few days.

But my QUESTION is, how do I connect the Logitech 540 speakers (green, orange & black wires) to work on a newly purchased Dvd player w/ those particular speakers.

**I'm assuming I'll need additional wiring of some-sort, but I have not the slightest of clues.

Any help would be great! Thank you in advance.
 
Actually you would need a DVD player that has Discrete 5.1 channel outputs.
so if you look at the back you would see Fronts, Rears, Center ,sub...
alot of the new bargain DVD players will NOT have this...
