If i install a vanilla game but there were already like 5 patches released 1.1 1.2 1.3 1.4 1.5 do i have to install them all or just the latest?

For example i just installed Crysis, there is the 1.1 and 1.2 patch and the 1.21 hotfix. Do i have to install 1.1 too or just the 1.2?

It really depends on the game whether the patches are individual or cumulative. I don't have Crysis, so IDK on that one.

Just install 1.2, then the hotfix. Usually "hotfix" implies that you need to have the preceding patch installed.

With most games, a patch that doesn't explicitly state "hotfix" or that it needs to have a previous patch installed is a cumulative patch.

I would get the latest patch and try to patch the vanilla install. If it's not supposed to work that way then the game SHOULD give an error message saying 'this patch doesn't work with this version'. Then I'd start getting the earlier patches.
