Do they really work?
Also I'd like some suggestions because I plan to switch to water cooling when I upgrade to conroe in a couple of months. I mean like are there any kits that'd be good for a newbie or just what are the best parts to get etc. like that for water cooling.

Yes, non conductive fluids do work as long as you keep it free from contaminants. Stay away from kits unless they come from Danger Den or Swiftech. Thermaltake, Corsair, etc are all junk and perform maybe as good as high end air cooling. Your best intro into watercooling would prolly be with the Apex Ultra Kit from Swiftech.

Koolance stinks too? and I guess non-conductive coolants I gotta make sure my things aren't dusty huh

in my opinion, Koolance is overpriced and doesnt perform to par with the DD or Swiftech products. As long as you keep your fluid clean, it "should" keep its non conductive nature.

Yes, the non-conductive fluids do work. They do however, cost a pretty penny and so long as you're confident in your leak-testing/proofing, you should have no need for non-conductive fluids unless you just want some added insurance.

As far as kits, I would advise to avoid them. The Apex Ultra kit is a bit overppriced IMO. I can't help but feel I can get virtually identical performance and save some money.

The Koolance EXOS series is great if your case can accomodate it.

Zalman Reserator is also great and SILENT.

Other than those 3, there aren't much better out there. I'd generally avoid the stuff from Cooler Master & Thermaltake...
