I have a 2 year old SATA 7200rpm seagate drive in my computer right now. Will replacing that drive with 2x 300gb maxtor sata 16mb cache drives speed things up much?

Specs in sig

how much cache does the old drive have? also, have you compared the average seek time for all the drives? anyway, there will be some improvement but mostly in boot up time and loading up some games and large applications but i doubt that the difference will be huge.
unless you're short on space i would suggest going with a western digital raptor 75GB drive that's 10,000 rpm which is the fastest SATA drive on the market right now. Install all of your OS(s) and/or games on that one.
