Hello all. 2 weeks and I am not decided about which computer case should I buy. My system will be LGA 1155 Intel DZ68BC, AMD SAPHIRE 7970, 16 gigs of Kingston HyperX RAM, Corsair HX 850 power supply and only 3 hhds. I am not an overclocker. I use everything in default mode.

I like the clean look, but the clean Computer cases I saw on the market I have not seen quality in material that are built or they are enormous in size. I wanted a decent mid tower, visually clean (Apple style) and with quality steel with less chance of rust. What tips would you give me? I can't find aluminiun cases anymore in my country. :(

I liked these models (though the visual not be clean), just the corsair has clean look is great but still I liked the corsair.

1) Corsair Graphite Series 600TM ATX Case ( very good clean appearence but is it big?? Or have vibration on the sides?)
2) RAIDMAX Helios ATX-819WB Black Steel ( I know this is not clean, but I love the appearence, it have a good iron, good quality?) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...ark=&IsFeedbackTab=true&Page=3#scrollFullInfo
3) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119194 ( I don't really like the appearence, but seems very solid and more efficient air flow than Corsair 600TM ?)

not taking into consideration the price. which one are the best for a mid tower computer?

Please, I need sugestions about the not too big ones ones that really cool inside and no noise and that have good dusty filters and etc...

Thank you in advance.

#1 hands down out of those three. Better quality than both of those other cases combined. Not to mention more space and better cable management.

However if you want quiet cases, these are usually the quietest cases out there:
$120 - Fractal Design Define R3 Arctic White ATX Case
$120 - Fractal Design Define R3 Silver Arrow ATX Case
$125 - Fractal Design Define R3 Black Pearl ATX Case
$140 - Antec P280 ATX Case
$140 - Antec Performance One Series P183 V3 ATX Case
$140 - Corsair Obsidian Series 550D ATX Case
$144 - Silverstone RV03B-WA ATX case
$160 - Silverstone RV02B-W ATX case
$178 - Silverstone RV02B-EW ATX case
$220 - Silverstone FT02S-W ATX Case
$230 - Silverstone FT02B ATX Case

Are you sure I really dont need a frontal fan using a the big AMD 7970 video card?
Huh? Where did I say that?
And these ones are mid tower? I hate very big cases.
Kinda. The line between Full Tower and Midtower is pretty much blurred at this point

IMO no. The quality looks cheap, barely any space behind the motherboard for cable management, and, here in the U.S at least, there are often better quality cases for the money like NZXT Source 210 Elite or the Coolermaster HAF 912.

Again, Corsair hands down.

Hello, thank you for the sugestion but I'd like small cases like that:
http://www.coolermaster.com/product.php?product_id=6702

But I think is too hot for my system, no?

Do you think I need front, side and up cooler?

Thank you everyone. :)

In my country I don't have all these options. And I'd like the smallest one with good AIR FLOW

I can find easily models from Cooler Master and Corsair.

So, should I buy the Corsair Graphite Series 600TM ( mesh side panel) This one is tooooo big in Depth
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811139007 or

Cooler master Storm Sniper SGC-6000-KXN1-GP Black Steel
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119194

http://www.coolermaster.com/product.php?product_id=6702

or this one:

I really love the Corsair Graphite Series 600TM but it's tooooooo big in Depth.

Thank you in advance.

The Cooler Master you inked in your OP is actually quite large.

I recommend looking into Lian-Li cases. They're very sturdy, clean looking, and have great cable management. I have the PC-K62 myself and I really like it. Plenty of room to work with.

There are a few different versions of it (different PC-K6x model numbers) so if you don't like blue LED's, a side panel, or a painted interior you have a few to choose from, and the prices vary accordingly.

PC-K60B - Unpainted inside and standard fans

PC-K58W - Unpainted inside and top 2x 140MM fans are not included.

Yes it would be.

I would recommend at least a rear fan and a side fan (for the GPU). If you have more than one drive, then get a front fan too. And if you havae money leftover or if the case supports it, a top fan would be a good idea as well. So four fans would be the optimal choice IMO.

Dude, the 600TM is only an inch (25.4mm) longer than the Sniper but is of better quality, has more room to work with, and better cable management. So no reason to get the Storm Sniper unless that inch (25.4mm) makes a huge difference.

That case is roughly 4 inches (101.6 mm) shorter than the 600TM. The 300R is not a bad case for the money. However, it has to be at least $20 cheaper than the Corsair 400R or it isn't a good deal. If it's less than $20 cheaper than the Corsair 400R, go for the 400R at that point since it's a better acse.

Out of interest what case do you have at the moment? I think the 600T is a bit bigger than it looks on the pics, it's quite a big mid-tower case.

THank you for all replies :)

Here we have only: Cooler master Silencio 550

Corsair Carbide Series 300R Black Steel
someone could tell if the 300R comes with front filter?

or Corsair Carbide Series 500R

And the Corsair Graphite 600TM ( but is too big in depth and I dont have room for it) 3-4 inches makes a lot of difference for me.

THank you for all.

Why do you keep listing cases that we and you already know are not good choices for you? The Silencio won't provide enough cooling and the 600TM is apparently too long for you. So why keep listing those cases?

It does.

Hello Danny Bui,
you were very kind and considerate to me. I am very grateful for that.
Sorry for my English was not very good.

actually I'm a little frustrated with the cabinets/cases on the market are either beautiful or has quality. I can not find the two things together. The Corsair 600TM I think is soooooo beautiful, but is huge for me. Very, very depth. I like models with 18-20" of tall and max of 19-20" of Depth.

About the cases you posted here.
Many of the cases posted ( hard forum) dont have here in my country, we do not have much variety here, only the most famous models or the very cheaper ones.

What I have been trying to say is that all this time I wanted a compact case and at the same time with good air flow. I have little room for me and 3-4 inches is a lot of difference. :)

if I was not using that video card I would use the Cooler Master Silence, thought it was beautiful and compact. But I think I need air on the video card .

Já que o modelo 300R tem front air filter, agora resta saber se o aço usado neste modelo ( que eu adorei o tamanho, mas não gostei do acabamento) tem a mesma qualidade dos modelos 400R, 500R. Do you know something about it?

Thanks to all of your answers, Thank you.

I haven't had hands-on time with the 300R yet but from what I've read so far, the 300R has roughly the same quality of steel/construction that the 400R and 500R have.

Hello Danny Bui, sorry, I forgot to translate.

Since the 300R model has front air filter ( great!) , now the question is whether the steel used in this model (which I loved the size, but not like the front finish) has the same quality of models 400R, 500R. Do you know something about it?

Thank you again
