question about making recovery disks

...craps that you downloaded.. do you mean service packs.. security updates,, gay porn?

You need to give us more information. What process are you using to make the recovery disks?

I prefer using Ghost. I burn the image to a bootable DVD that runs ghost, and let's me restore the image. I get a full restore...XP, apps, files, etc.

Recovery disks will only allow you to run ASR which will restore critical system files if you can't boot your computer. It is not a method of backing up your data.
