If some computers were on one 100BT switch, and some on another 100BT switch with a 100BT line connecting the switches... could people transfer large files AND game comfortably(low pings, no loss, on local servers)?

Or should it be a 1000BT line between the switches?

how many computers

You could probably do 12-24, depending on amount of files. Gameing doesn't take much bandwith, but file transfer does

Hypothetically lets say for a worst case scenario 10 computers on switch A and 10 on switch B are sharing data. The switch can handle the demand of nearly anyone on itself transfering files. But alot of people are trying to transfer data between the switches. Then on top of that some people are trying to play a multiplayer game over lan.

Would they have lag spikes and/or packet loss or will the equipment make room for them?

I'm trying to plan for every contingency.
