OK guys and gals thinking of getting a gaming laptop myself pretty much decided to try the guys at Xoticpc. Cant decide weather to go with a Sager or MSI laptop myself. But that's not the main question I have, the question I have is which video card is better Nividia 560M or 570m or 485m. Going to be using t his to play games such as the new Modern Warfare 3, new Battlefield 3 and Star Wars the old repulbic. I am somewhat leaning towards the MSI which has a 570m but really want to know if a sager with a 485m would beat it out. Thanks for any of the help you guys give.

Thanks thats acutally very helpful so either the 570m or 485m would be great and last several years for the high end games hmm.

I like the xoticpc folks. They answered every question I had for them, and quickly at that.

Have never ordered from them before found out about them here on hardocp forums :). Just doing research right now. Probaly wont order it till xmas

if you are going to buy sager buy from malibal. they are by far the cheapest and offers the same warranty/support as every other reseller. and if you make an account on notebookreview forums and contact them there they will give you free shipping if your in us.

and on another note 6990m is a better choice for mobile gpu atm.

notebookcheck.net is very skewed when it comes to results and video card competition. You never know which drivers they are using and they don't use descriptions in their comparisons. It shouldn't be used as a pure comparison at all. Just for basic information. I would compare actual laptop video card reviews if i were you.

Actually they aren't that hard to find, well you have to find various laptop reviews.

Notebookcheck does in fact have a section where you can view the individually logged benchmarks.

The gtx 560m is extremely good, a very good overclocker in the MSI 16". I would not go with Clevo, the sound is awful in about 3 ways, speakers, the actual integrated sound card, and very noisy fans.

The only real competition is between 560m, 570m, 580m and 6990m.
The 6970m is on par with the 570m.
The 485m is on par with the 580m.

Actually Malibal is more expensive just priced their 15.6" compared the the sager one I can get at XoticPC and with the same configuration their 200 more. At t he moment kinda stuck on which video card to get. If I go with the sager I can get the 485m or 6990m for the same price around $1650. If I go with the 570m I can get the MSI I want for $1600. MAN I just cant decided what I want lol.
