Question about L90D+ panel

I am in the market for a 19" gaming LCD and was looking at the Hyundai L90D+ on newegg and noticed something strange. On all the reviews I have read about his monitor, they say it is a TN panel, and can therefore only display 16.2 million colors with dithering. But in the specifications on newegg, they say it is a VA panel capable of 16.7 million colors.

Is are the specifications wrong? I thought the number of colors might be, but it specifically says it has a VA panel. Did the panel get updated?

Can anyone help me out with this?

It's a 6-bit TN panel. From what I've seen, there is a lot of mistakes in specs on newegg. Sometimes they list a 0.264mm pixel pitch for a 19" LCD etc.

Thanks

I looked around at other vendors, and the Hyundai site, and none of them say that it is a VA panel, though they all specify it is capable of 16.7 million colors, which is impossible for a 6 bit panel.

I still wonder why Hyundai put 16.7 mil on their. I would hope the manufacturer would't lie about its capabilities.
