question about koolance coolant...

i got my koolance exos running ok but i chose to use the coolant that came packaged with the system. the instructions say to use only the provided liquid and if necessary use distilled water. the intructions also say not to run anything else except the koolance approved liquid, escpecially distilled water with water wetter added. is there a specific reason why they say this, will it damage the pumps or tubing?

also, what kind of performance increase would i see if i drained my system and filled it with distilled water+water wetter?
 
The answer lies here. Basically, they want to make sure you both prevent corosion and algae growth. The problem with water wetter is that it does leave a film.
