Question about hdmi switch/splitter

my pc has 3 outputs. 2 DVI's and 1 HDMI. I have one display on that HDMI port. I would like to be able to switch between two displays on that one port.Doesn't matter if there simultaneous. Ive been told a splitter is what im looking for. Is that correct?

That is, 'identical to the input of the splitter'.

Either an HDMI splitter or HDMI bi directional switch will do the job.
