Question about full tower internal measurements.

So.... long story short. I'm tired of my antec 900. The straw that broke the camel's back was the purchase of a Thermalright Spitfire vga cooler, which will not physically fit in my case without requiring me to replace my TRUE Spirit with a low profile cpu heat sink. I had hoped to install it in the downward orientation, but it will hit my PSU in that direction (because of the bottom mounted psu). So I'm looking at a full tower case in hopes that it will provide me with additional vertical clearance.

Are there exact specs for full tower cases in terms of internal vertical measurements?
Like I said, I would need vertical height. The taller, the better.
Is there any way to know exactly how much space I am going to have between the bottom of my MB and the top of my PSU (assuming that the PSU is bottom mounted)?

I've been looking at the Cooler Master HAF X and the NZXT Phantom.

I would think that my spitfire would fit in any full tower case... but I would hate to be wrong about this.

well, all cases are different and have different internal volumes. the spitfire should fit in any full tower cases, the egg has the size of every case L X W X H and you could get a semi accurate guesstimation on the internal with based on the thickness of the of the metal and mobo tray back spaceing. both the haf x and the phantom should fit the spitfire, look at the pics of the back of the case, both boast about 2 inches of clearance between card and wall. i love the full tower including my own
