I lost the manual and the creative site is showing it doesn't have one for my card on their website to download. But it's also saying they have no drivers to download either so I'm thinking their site is a bit messed up at the moment.

In any event, this is my sound card:

Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer Fatal1ty Professional Series

This is my case:

Cooler Master Stacker RC-832

I would like to hook my sound card up to the front audio panel if possible. The case comes with connections for Azalia, HD Audio and a lot of loose single pronged connections with no labels. I don't see any means to hook up the 4x2 Azalia/HD Audio connections on the card. Can I run this card to the Audio I/O panel on my case? If so, how?

Are you ready to express some Creative love? Really? Ok, here's the skinny on front panel conections with the XtremeGamer Fatal1ty: you're screwed.

Now, if you had purchased the far less expensive (but no less Xtreme) gamer card, you'd have front panel connectors, but not on the apparently DOA fatal1ty card. Or maybe they just want you to pay extra for the fancy front panel.

You can do two things that don't involve paying more money to Creative, though both of them still involve paying more money to someone.

1) Get a front panel extension, or...
2) Hack the proprietary Creative connector.

Alternatively, you can swap the card with someone for the less "fatal" XtremeGamer, which does include requisite the front-panel connector.

figures, thank you very much for the info. I'll look into the other thread and the links.
