I just started folding today, although I did some folding a long while back and I wanted to contribute to this great cause again. The question that I have is on the display screen, with this new 6.2 version I dont see any info on the left hand side of the screen like I used to with the older client. Is there a way to enable this information? Thanks all.

Are you using the 6.20 GUI uniprocessor client ?

I downloaded this client

This would be a systray version. Do you see the infos when you hover the mouse on the systray icon in the taskbar ?

All it shows is F@H working: 27/500 obviously it updates when I complete more folding but I really wanted to know how to have it show on the display.

That's a good question and I don't use this client so I dunno what needed to be done. You could try asking this on http://foldingforum.org and someone should answer this (it's the forum the official F@H staff use for the contacts with the users and tech support).

What is the client that you use? Is there any benefits to the one that you use compared to this one?

Well, I only use high performance clients like Linus SMP, Windows SMP and Windows GPU2 (systray and console) along with a PS3 client. Those clients have zero visualisation since I find that pointless, only console or systray output. I follow the infos with Fahmon, a monitor to watch lots of clients in a place since I have a total of 17 clients at home and 10 clients at work ;)

Sorry to hijack the thread, but I have a question:

How do you get the viewer in the GPU version to work in Vista?? I read where it would work if I gave the viewer administrative rights, but I don't know where that is located to do so.

I use Vista and I can use the viewer without administrative rights. I guess you need to get the latest 177.35 driver or better to get the viewer to work somehow (it's still buggy and laggy right now).
