Question about First Build

Hey guys-

TOTAL NOOBIE here. Sorry if the following may be a stupid question. I'm in the midst of my first build and I'm confused at one of the steps. The front of my case (Lian Li PC65B) has two USB ports with the normal wires behind them. My mobo (Asus A8n SLI Premium) has three internal USB connectors.

The internal USB connectors look like they have four prongs on top and three on bottom. The wires coming out of the two USB ports in the front of the case have three holes (supposedly for three prongs, right?). Additionally, there are two "ground" holes that fit ONE prong in them. My question is, where do I hook this stuff up? What orientation?

The two USB port wires have three prongs marked "USB+", "USB-", and "VCC2". What does that mean?

Lastly, so the wires coming out of the front USB ports go like this. I'm describing exactly. If you need a pic, I'll post one. They come out of the USB ports in the front of case and go into the case. They connect to this black connector which has wires coming out of it with the prongs I described above. There are two USB three holed wires, and two one-holed "Ground" wires. What do I do with these and the black thing that they all connect to looks like it would connect to something but I don't know what.

If you understood all that, my hat's off to you. If you understood some, and think you can help, let me know what you need me to post. I can post pictures once I get home tonight. Again, this probably all sounds nonsensical cause I'm a n00b.

Each USB port will have four wires running into it.
Red:- +5v or VCC
White:- Data-
Green:- Data+
Black:- Ground.
Thats the order they will attach to the mobo.

The odd one has a extra black wire which is used to to ground a shielded cable.

Luck........ :D

Your mainboard manual should show the pinouts for the connectors on the mainboard. The wires from the case should be marked (if they aren't Lian-Li sucks lol). The pinouts may also be printed on the mainboard.
