as a suprise when i got home my girlfriend went and bought me for valanetines day x2 24 inch asus VE 245 monitors. Now since they didnt have 2 at bestbuy she only got the 2.

what i want to know is i know Eyefinity is used or 3 monitors but will it still work for 2 monitors. like is it possible for the game to work on both monitors instead of the 3 needed.

You can get eyefinity to work for two monitors but you're looking at your crosshairs being where the bezels are on the monitors. Go buy another monitor and be happy!

it isn't practical to run two monitors in eyefinity - the focus of all games/programs would be where you can't see if you had bezel management.

yeah i kind of figured that. they were out of stock on the monitor so i couldnt get a third. i will have to wait for more to come in stock. hopefully soon

Yeah I'd try to be patient if I were you. Order the next monitor when in stock. Until then just run the two monitors off the same card. using extended mode instead of a 'group' so your games appear on just one monitor.

well i had to taqke one monitor back the backlight bleed was terrible. i cant believe asus would let a monitor ship that way. im actually questioning the other monitor as well. not as bad but i just dont like it

that sucks. get replacements or return them both and buy 3 22" if you don't mind the 2 inch reduction (make sure she wont mind ;)

Just wondering what advantage is there to go down to 22" when you can do 24"?

none that i can think of. only benefit is you will get better performance on 22" because of less pixels and they will be cheaper if price is an issue but all in all adding those 2 inches for three monitors isnt going to be a big deal if you dont mind being patient
