Question about Eyefinity and HD5770 crossfire.

Can i plug 3 monitors into the 3 out of 4 DVI slots?

In non-Crossfire mode that will work (ie desktop mode). If you are gaming and turn on Crossfire the outputs on the 2nd card become unusable.

If you want 3 monitor Eyefinity for gaming they all have to be plugged in to the main card meaning you will need a active DP->DVI adapter ($100) or try your luck with a DP->VGA adapter ($30).
 
can i plug 2 monitors into the DVI slots, and then one into the HDMI? or no?
 
that sucks major ass! lol i wanted to borrow my friends monitors to try it out. but i guess I wont be doing that anytime soon.
