Question about duel monitors

I just set up for duel monitors by defult in windows my left monitor is my main monitor, I'd like to make my right monitor my main monitor. Also, whenever I open a program it opens it on my non main monitor. My main monitor is a CRT and my non main is a LCD. When Games are up and running I cant choose the rez I would like for the lcd and the graphics are very shity. A advice on how to get my right monitor my main one and also keep games on the main one with good graphics would be appreciated, thanks!
 
1) It's DUAL monitor. Your monitors are not in a fight :/
2) Richt Click Desktop>Properties>Drag the monitors to the right place?
 
In the settings tab of display properties near the bottom there are two check boxes. Highight your right monitor in the diagram above and check the use this device as the primary monitor box. For resolutions you'll possibly need to adjust that monitors resolution in the same settings tab. But probably need to do it on a game by game basis.

Selecting the primary check box should change it so that dialogues etc open on that monitor. Failing that if you using an nvidia then click on the advanced buttin select the graphics card tab then on the left the desktop management text and their are options in there about dialogues opening etc.
