Question about drivers during AIW upgrade

OK, fed ex dropped off my new AIW x800 XT today so I'll be replacing my 9800 pro tonight. I've never replaced a video card before but it doesn't look very difficult. My main question is, am I going to have to change the drivers for the video card since it's an AIW card or are the ones i'm using for the 9800 pro going to work. not sure what version catalyst i'm currently using but it's probably a few releases old.
