Question about disk performance

Okay I have a RAID 0 array and a 15 gig ATA hard drive in my computer. Right now I have the 15 gig handling the page file. Would it be faster to have the page file on the Raid 0 along with my OS or is it better to leave it the way it is?
 
It is better to have the page file on a different disk then your OS for performance.
 
It would be better on a separate disk. You would get no improvement RAIDing your pagefile. I have the first 5 gigs of my second drive set aside for my 3 gig page file. This speeds up the defrag process.

Generally speaking it's better to have it on a different disk, even if that disk is slower. There's a limit of course. If you've got, say, an old Quantum Bigfoot and a Raptor, it'd likely be better to put it on the Raptor even if it is the system drive. I just don't know where the line is, so I can't really say which disk will give you the best performace. At least you've got a gig of ram though, so it shouldn't matter too much where it is. If you want to put it in terms of gaming performance, I'd venture a guess that leaving it on the 15GB will help load times the most, while if you're getting paging related in game stuttering (got BF2? lol) putting it on the array might alleviate the problem at the expense of load times.
