Question about copying hd data to another hd

Here's what I would like to do. I just put my new 200 gig hd in and paritioned a 5 gig paritition for the OS and then one large paritition for everything else. Now what I would like to do is make that 5 gig a 10 gig paritition.

I know I can use Paritition Magic, but would rather do it some other way. So, is there anyway I can copy all the contents from that 5 gig paritition to a 10 gig paritition on another hd, without it copying the parition data?

Most programs like Ghost and Drive Image copy the complete paritition.

Ghost I know you can image it to a partition that is larger than the current one and it will not retain the "partition data".

I just did it last night with Ghost 2003 and an NTFS partition. Went from a 6GB partition to a 25GB one.
 
Cool! So, Ghost will not copy the partition then? It will just copy whatever data you have on that paritition to another one and not make it the same size. Ok, I will try that then.

when you create a ghost image of a partition, and when you restore the ghost image on another hard drive, it will allow you to set what every partition size you want
