So I've been reading all this material on the new intel cpu, but for the life of me, I can't find any references to this. Is the CPU a 64 bit cpu? Is it going to be multicore?
I can't find any specific references to these questions. Any ideas?

Yes, and Yes (though there will be single core chips utilizing the Core architecture as well).
