Quick question...just got my X1900XT today. I'm looking at ATI's software and it's saying that the current GPU clock speed is 500 MHz and the current memory clock speed is 594 MHz (1198 MHz). As I understand it the X1900XT is supposed to be 625/1450? My friend says that he believes that the lower speeds displayed are just for 2D. He's correct, right? My card isn't underclocking itself is it?

Also, is 5317 a good 3DMark06 score for my system (AMD X2 3800+, 2 GB of RAM, X1900XT)?

In my defense after you said that I had to go back 8 pages to find someone else asking the same question :-P

My system gets around 4800 points in 3dmark06 just for comparison. Guess that dual core helps a bit there :)

Yeah, I get 5068 @ 2.5ghz single core and 660/780 clocks. But 2634 in SM3.0 tests isn't bad :) The x1800xt only got around 1800.

The dual core definitely gives you a boost.

With my system as it is set up in my sig I just crack 6,000 in 06.

New score: 5580. :) I overclocked to 655/783 (effectively slightly faster than the XTX cards.) My temperatures and stability still seem rock solid.
