Should I wait for my 3 120mm Fans, for the evo 360radiator, before i put my whole water cooling setup, and run it as passive cooling? I'm just wondering if it will be a pain in the ass to install the 3 120mm fans when my water cooling system is up and running.

Id say hook the mofo up and hook te 120mm fans up later.Just put the rad by some kind of fan.I've seen many people run rads with out a fan.

ied say if ur building it all from scratch and its jus gonna be a few days before everything comes in then just wait a few more days and assemble everything all at once and besides u should leak test for 24 hours

but if u decide to hook it up it could be a pain in the future cause u dunno what u might run into and have to take the radiator out for some reason then you have to drain the whole system

Where is your 360 going?

How about using these fans instead? I think they are better fans and they are cheaper to boot + I think they are in stock :D

I don't know what you'll be cooling, but I know that in my loop with a 3.2ghz P4 xeon, a 6800GT, and a Northbridge cooler, I overheat without fans on my Thermochill 120.3

i cut a hole in the top of my case for my evo 360 and grill

Adding fans at a later date with the Evo rad is going to be a big PITA. The fans go inbetween the rad and the grill. Again I would suggest you call Sharka and cancel your original fans and get them someplace else or get the ones I earlier suggested.

If you're looking for 120mm quiet fans, try Jab-tech. They have a great selection at alot lower prices than Sharka. Sharka is really over priced on a lot of their stuff. If you can save some of your hard earned cash, why not do it.

Well I agree that if you want orange fans in your case that would be okay, but I think they are nosier than the Acoustifan. I think the pricing has more to do with the country of origin and exchange rates of that product than anything else. Take it up with George Bush. ;)

Just when does the color of anything really matter to a true computer modder, if the price is right, and the specs fit but you don't like the color, change it................

Easy enough to do unless the person involved is just a parts changer.............

Well depends on whether you figure your time is worth anything. If your a student living at home or otherwise not working then hey WTF go spend all day getting a fan painted up all nice. However, if you do value your time then these things certainly come into play. Besides, the specs on the Yate-Loon fans don't really get me all that excited. :p

I'd say that my time is worth more than most, but seeing that I retired at the age of 45 I can take my time and do what I want when I want. But all that aside, making my computer look the way I want it is more important than spending a hour or 2 painting a fan. Off the shelf parts just don'r always look the way I like and look like everone elses.................

Well I totally agree on the retiring at 45 point :D And I just take a lot of time on putting my rig together using fairly stock parts. There have been a lot of stock parts I have bought that didn't make it and ended up in the FS/FT forum. ;) However, I do do a lot of modifying of parts on a mechanical basis to get it to do what I want it to do. Just not artistic enough to want to spend a few hours changing the color of something and orange is definitely not right for this case of mine. F.I. my wiring will probably take about 100-200 hours to do as I need to build some custom circuits and the wires are all going into a conduit that looks like water tubing :)
