question about bios and cf

I am just wondering that if i get an x1900xt and i flash the bios to an x1900xtx could i get an x1900xtx crossfire edition card nad eould it work? I mean would it work even though its not a real x1900xtx? But i flashed the bios to an x1900xtx so would it work with cf? Thank you
 
To my understanding there is only one X1900CF Edition card, it doesn't matter if you use an XT or XTX with it. And yes, a flashed to XTX will work.
