Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
can you tell me how this works. i disabled my onboard video and installed my 8800gt. Now with the chipset driver. so i install the ati software like i usually do or does windows 7 64 bit do it for me.
my onboard video is a 4200 or do i just install the southbridge driver. sorry for my ignorance i havent been in pc's for many years
install the chipset drivers for the motherboard [audio drivers, ethernet drivers, and etc.. except for the display driver] then afterwards install the nvidia drivers for your 8800gt
I would install the Nvidia display drivers first, then let Windows 7 install the drivers from Windows Update for everything else. If there is anything it can't find, then install that driver manually from the CD or whatever.
