I've been searching for a gaming monitor (preferably 26", but 24" would be acceptable). The three things I need are 1. low input lag, 2. a component input (so I can hook up my Wii or ps2), and 3. 1:1 pixel mapping. The Samsung T260HD would've been perfect, but the input lag is pretty terrible, especially for a TN panel. I've been thinking of purchasing the ASUS VW266H, but I haven't seen too many reviews for it out there. It's essentially the VK266H without a webcam built in. This monitor does have a component input, but I am unsure about the input lag or 1:1 pixel mapping. The Asus website says "Aspect Control function allows users to select a preferred display mode among Full and 4:3 for true-to-life Full HD 1080p gaming or movie watching without any data loss or image distortion," but I can't find confirmation that it actually has a 16:9 mode with bars on the top and bottom. Has anyone purchased or used this monitor yet? I'd also take other suggestions for monitors that fulfill these 3 criteria and aren't more than $425 or so. Thanks.
