Question about 92mm Panaflo fans

I'm running a P4 3.0c on an Asus P4C800-E Delux board.

The 92mm High Panalfo fan only has one 3 pin connector, connected to the mobo.
Is that safe? or do i need to have the 4 pin connector to connect to the powersupply?
any ideas?

i heard it will damage my mobo with using only 3 pins to power the fans. is that true?
 
what mobo is it, and there shouldn't be a problem, i have 3 fans hooked up to mobo
