Question about 4890

Looks like NewEgg is having a server issue. Can you post the make and model of the PSU you linked to?

Honestly, I would trust the RaidMax PSU with my daughter (if I had one) :)

What always recommend a PSU that has good regulation, low ripple and good efficiency. The better of the offerings is a Corsair unit. Specifically, without going too overboard, is the Corsair VX550W. This brand and model of PSU meets all the criteria I set down when recommending a PSU to anyone and is an excellent value at the price point after the rebates.

Yea, that's probably better than that Raidmax unit.

I'm running a Seasonic 550w and it runs my rig just fine.

Truthfully we can't 100% say what's going to work for you though because you didn't post all of your specs. Although the video card is one of the most power hungry components it isn't the only consideration.
