Question about 2005FPW multi inputs

What good would that do you? I don't understand.
If you've got the TV tuner hooked in through S-vid/RCA, you can do PIP or PBP.
If you've got a PCI TV tuner, just run it in a window, or if you've got an ATI, minimize it and the TV image will become your desktop wallpaper.

I think there are 2 ways to do this.
A. Hook the monitor up to the S-video out(if you have it on your video card). You will not get that great of picture though for your desktop and nor will it run at high resolution. Then hook the vga/ dvi cable up and run a TV tuner card and watch tv that way.
B.(better) Get a cable box/satelittle box and hook it up s-video/composite and then run your computer to the dvi/vga and use PBP or PIP. This is what I do to play PS2 on my 2005fpw(looks great by the way) and have my desktop running my messenger/dvd backups, whatever.

Probably if you're willing to switch inputs on the 2005's front panel. If it works, that's actually a novel way to have two "virtual" desktops like in some Linux GUIs.

I would suppose it would work. However the question you are stating now does not refer to the 2005fpw specfically. The dell 2001fp could do the same.
