anyone here own the cpu? if so what kind of oc's are you getting on the stock heat sink? the review on hardocp gets nearly 3.3 on stock heatsink. however whenever i try to push my fsb past 170( 3.06ghz, the highest voltage setting i've tried is 1.5v, i'm too scared to go any higher than that on stock cooling) windows would just restart randomly. you guys think its my cpu or my motherboard? or my cooling isn't enough? i have plenty of fans, good airflow in the case. my motherboard is a gigabyte 865 mobo, if it is just my cpu then boohoo.... :(

More than likely it's your cooling giving you the big problem. But if it requires 1.5V to run at 3 gig stable, it's probably close to being pegged.

naw my voltage is 1.4 (stock) i tried pushing it to 1.5 so i can try to clock it over 3.06ghz but it just wouldn't do it

i have one with abit-ic7 mobo, i have at 3.6 gig stable with 1.6volts, runs 55C at idle 70@load. using a thermalright slk-947u heatsink with a 80mm case fan

see my thread,

prime stable at 3.7 ghz
very stable at 3.8 ghz
benchmarkable at 3.94 ghz (I think PSU is the issue)

and all at default voltage/cooling
