I have a machine that needs to last a bit longer. Abit KG7-RAID, with 3-6-2003 Bios DS.
I currently run, you guessed it, AMD 1600+ .
After reading the newest bios updates, and what they support....I read the socket will support 2100+ .18 micron Palomino....or 2000+ thoroughbred.
I figured this is based on manu proces, and FSB.
my question. The AMD 2400+ supports 266mhz FSB, but its faster than the 2100+. what micron is the AMD XP 2400+ and will it work in my m/b ?
