When I make a comp from scratch, will the MoBo or PSU come with the right wires to hook up my HD? Or shoudl I get the retail?
 
All retail motherboards come with the IDE and/or SATA wires needed to connect at least 1 hard drive and 2 optical drives, and a floppy drive.

Buying an OEM hard drive will save some $$$ and often times gets you a longer warranty!
