Well now that is an entirely different question altogether. The force of gravity follows the inverse square law. Double the distance and the force is quartered. This page seems to describe what you are talking about.Originally posted by ryn

I had not idea what it was, still don't, but got an idea none the less! someone has to know this, hehe. I googled a ton, but can't get the right wording I guess.

As you have probably noticed, the earth is much much much bigger than the moon. Therefore the earth has a much greater gravitational pull than the moon. Unless you could dynamically resize the earth or the moon then you cannot reach a point where the gravitational pull of both is equal. Quit trying to violate the laws of physics(and common sense).
