Can someone a lot more knowledgable on the subject please explain what this means? Because a cpu that can process more computations than atoms in the universe sounds to me like it would make one out of this world gaming rig lol

Assuming a quantum computer came in the pc variety, keeping in mind that there aren't any available at all (and yes I know about D-Wave's "quantum" computer), gamers stand to gain nothing from it because of the coding used to write it.
 
Quantum computing is at minimum decades away. I do not expect to see any in my lifetime.

Edit: What I mean by that is quantum computers replacing the PC. There is a lot of work going from the laboratory devices that are being developed now to a machine that is useable as a PC.
